The Zoo's Botanic Department has been busy preparing many rare and unusual plants for their annual garden festival.  This festival will take place from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 5 and Sunday, May 6, 2012. Tropical bedding plants, unusual perennials, shrubs and trees, as well as ornamental grasses will be available for purchase. Find a sampling of plants for sale here. A special Zoo Members Only Plant Sneak Preview Party will be held on Friday, May 4 from 5:00 - 7:30 p.m.
