Abyssinian Ground Hornbill - Bucorvus abyssinicus The Abyssinian Ground Hornbill is a bird that feeds on other small animals. They travel in family groups, trailing behind fires that sweep across the savanna of Africa that the hornbills call home. Interesting Fact: Hornbills hunt together in a group, which is rare among birds.

 

 

Cheetah – Acinonyx jubatus
Cheetahs are built for speed and not strength. Because of their long slim bodies, cheetahs can run to 70 miles per hour reaching strides of twenty-four feet. Although quick, cheetahs are not very strong, and are often preyed upon by other animals, such as lions, hyenas, and baboons.
Interesting Fact: Cheetahs are the only cats without retractable claws.
