2008 Happenings!      Join Bob’s Gym & McDonald's for an exciting walking class at the Zoo! Classes take place every Wednesday at 9 a.m from April - Oct. A certified fitness instructor will lead the class on a brisk walk around the Zoo while taking breaks for stretching, cardio, and light strength training. All ages are welcome to attend! Classes meet at the front gate and are free with Zoo membership or paid Zoo admission.   2008 Calendar Of Events! Party for the Planet – April 20 2008 Join us for this exciting event. Learn how to make your family wildlife friendly through fun hands-on crafts and activities. 12 PM - 3 PM. Bloomin' Zoo Garden Festival – May 3 & 4 2008 Purchase unique and interesting plants used through out Zoo grounds. Various local garden clubs will be on hand for demonstrations. Sponsored by Macy’s. 9 AM - 4 PM. Family Fun Day – July 19 2008 Make a splash with this fun family oriented event.  Play a variety of fun games, water activities, and much more! 10 AM – 3 PM Pony Express Mustang & Classic Ford Club Car Show September 6, 2008 Stroll the Zoo while viewing an impressive lineup of cars on display.Try to see how many animal named cars your family can find. Vote for your favorite car! 9AM - 4PM  Boo at the Zoo – October 17, 18 & 24, 25 2008 Enjoy over a dozen treat stations, games, crafts, haunted tram ride and more at this spooktacular event!
