Background:  Boo at the Zoo is Mesker Park Zoo & Botanic Garden’s largest and most spooktacular event of the year.  Boasting an attendance of over 13,000 in 2011, this event accommodate even more guests than ever.  Boo at the Zoo will take place October 19, 20, 21, 26, 27, & 28, 2012 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. During Boo at the Zoo, guests follow a designated path around the Zoo, filling their treat bags with goodies at over a dozen treat stations and enjoying entertainment.  The Zoo will be decked out with Halloween décor and feature themed areas, costumed characters, games, a haunted feature, magic shows, and much more. This event is utilized by the community as a fun and safe alternative to trick-or-treating.

Opportunity: Table Sponsorship Opportunity - Sponsor a trick or treat station during Boo at the Zoo!  A few representatives of your organization are invited to staff the booth (an 8 ft. table) during the duration of the event for promotional purposes while handing out candy to the guests.  Please tell your staff to come in costume and be ready to have fun! The Zoo will supply candy, if you wish, but feel free to bring any additional goodies to add to our supply and promote your business.  Decorate your table and enter the “Spooky Table Sponsor Decorating Contest!”  Winner will receive a fun Zoo gift pack!   *If you do not have staff to man your booth, volunteers will be provided for your table.

Sponsor Benefits: You may display your organization’s banner on your table during Boo at the Zoo, or, bring a backdrop or other type display.  Feel free to distribute coupons, promotional items (excluding balloons), or anything of that nature to the trick-or-treaters and their parents.  Your organization will be listed as one of the table sponsors on the Zoo’s website and thanked on the Trail Guide.  The networking opportunities during this time are endless and we want you to use this as a chance to get your name out in the community!
